Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy that helps clients identify how their thoughts (cognitions), emotions, physiological sensations, and behaviors interact to create outcomes and consequences. In CBT, clients learn to modify or adjust thoughts and behaviors to have more effective outcomes, alleviating depression, anxiety, anger, and stress, while maximizing adaptive, healthy experiences.
