The Sleep Improvement Treatment Planner (SITP) is a brief, structured instrument designed by Aaron Norton, LMHC, LMFT at the University of South Florida, College of Behavioral and Community Sciences to aid mental health professionals in planning cognitive-behavioral interventions for Insomnia Disorder. This tool is not a replacement for specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Professor Norton recommends Dr. Gregory Jacob's CBT-I training program for additional training on CBT-I.
